Nine Indivisibles from all over Orange County showed up at Panera in Irvine to write letters to potential Wisconsin voters. The packets and addresses are supplied by Vote Forward. When we ran out of letters to write and address, we moved on to "VOTE" postcards, which urge registered voters who skip primaries to vote in the presidentical primary next March. We'll save the postcards to address to targeted voters and send out a month before the primary election.
Photos from our first two Indivisible Debate Watching Parties. We had just the right number of people at both parties for comfortable seating and lots of good conversation. Lulu the dog enjoyed checking out feet, and younger attendees checked out the supper buffet.
Along with thousands of others, our group joined "Lights for Liberty" on Friday, July 12, to highlight the scandal that the Trump administration has caused at our border.
All four corners of our familiar gathering place at Alton and Culver in Irvine had protesters.
Speakers denounced the cruelty of family separation, of children in cages, of adult asylum seekers held for days in filthy cells where they could not even sit or lie down to sleep.

Our July monthly meeting featured a speaker on Impeachment, and the group as a whole voted that they supported an official impeachment inquiry.
A highlight of the first ever Indivisible National Gathering, were the "Indi-Awards" presented with Hollywood panache! So many groups across the country had been innovative in their approach to activism. What stood out was how much they accomplished by having several groups work together on many projects. After the awards, Indivisible founders Ezra and Leah outlined plans for 2020 and beyond.
The three days of the Gathering were filled with many useful bfeak-out sessions. Then, on Monday, a large number stayed on for Lobby Day n the Hill. We got Lobbying 101 to prep us, and then were off for a group photo.
No problem getting a big turnout for an "Impeach Now" demonstration!
Our members were not happy about Barr's interpretation of the Mueller Report and showed it!
Many members of the California delegation went to Senator Feinstein's office. An even larger group met in Senator Harris's office, but about 10 of them had appointments with their MoC so did not visit Senator Feinstein.
