Why Indivisible?

Indivisible is a true grass roots organization, providing top down resources, a legal framework for non-partisan activism, political research and big-tent progressive values to all those who will agree to those values no matter what political affiliation they have. Disagree with one of the positions (like impeachment now) Indivisible.org supports? Don't like one of the candidates they endorse? As long as you agree in principle with these four base values, no problem!

1.  Why resist Trump's agenda? Trump's agenda is racist, misogynistic, authoritarian and corrupt.

2.  How does Indivisible define progressive values? Inclusion, respect and fairness in all actions.

3.  Coordinate and collaborate with whom? Other Indivisible groups on advocacy, elections and national campaigns.

     Indivisible partners with MoveOn, Swing Left,  Super Majority,  Meetup Resist, ACLU, and many more. Locally, we reach out to such groups as WAVE, HB Huddle, Asian Americans Rising, Imagine Action, PIVOT and others, including single issue groups whose values align with ours.

     Indivisible does not, by law, collaborate directly with political parties or campaigns, although it independently supports many Democratic Party candidates. At this time, Indivisible is not endorsing a specific presidential candidate. However, in member polls, members have strongly preferred Elizabeth Warren and she has also garnered the top score in Indivisible's scoring excercise, based on an extensive questionnaire sent to many of the candidates.

4.  How do we help build a strong and strategic movement? By focussing our efforts to maximize our impact and winning progressive policy victories on the local, state and federal level.

Donate Here to Support Our Activism!  

Regular donations of $5.00 a month help pay our expenses. We have monthly expenses for the ability to have Zoom meetings, for our Texting application for those who don't want a lot of emails, and for necessary printing and simple refreshments and paper goods for meetings. If we want to have a vigorous program of postcarding and letter writing, now PROVEN to have a positive effect on getting out the vote, we need more printing, and stamps for those who cannot afford to donate them for the postcards and letters they write.

$150 a month in donations would keep us going for the basic expenses,  plus give us a start on special projects. If we had 30 members each donating $5.00 a month -- a total of $60 a year -- it would provide the base for so much activism!

Indivisible.org also needs your grassroots donations to provide our group and other groups all over the country with the resources that are needed to defeat Trump and his agenda in 2020.  You can donate HERE to Indivisible.org.
