What is a Gold Star Voter?

Gold Star Voters vote in every election. We have scored voters to reflect their liklihood to vote for candidates and issues that do not reflect Trumpian values, and the number of elections they vote in. We value voters who vote, not only in presidential general elections, but also in primaries and in mid-term elections.

We Want to Recruit Gold Star Voters for our team

We want you to help find the Gold Star Voters in your own neighborhood and recruit them for our teams. They are the natural choice to convince their neighbors to register, to become educated on the issues and the candidates, and then –– most important of all –– to vote.

Be A Neighborhood Volunteer

If you are want a voter list from your own neighborhood, please fill out the form for "Support Staff" in an in the message state you want your own voter list, and give your street address so we can determine your precinct and get a list for you. Also, state about how many homes you think you can cover.

Our County-wide Voter Registration Project

Help Us Set Up Voter Registration Teams

Is there someplace in your city or community that is ideal for setting up a voter registration table? Government locations are excellent. How about setting up a table in front of a popular branch of the public library? What about the courthuse? And of course, there are the stores that more liberal residents like, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Mothers. Those places are generally pretty friendly to voter registration activities.

We want to identify perhaps a dozen prime locations around the county. We will use donations to our Act Blue account to purchase basic setups -- a small but sturdy folding table, two small folding chairs, a banner stand and a banner.

If the table is to be in place for three hours, it's good to have two teams, 11/2 hours each. If we want each team to only have to volunteer once a month, we need 72 people. Sound impossible? Not if we check for volunteers throughout the entire county!

Who Will Volunteer For The Support Staff For Our Project?

Of course we need a volunteer support staff as well for this project, and we need to make sure we are constantly training new registrars, since this activity needs to continue right up to the last legal day to register before each election.
